“I find power and beauty in Japanese gastronomic traditions,” says the Razmy Gaffar who moved to Japan at the age of 18 to hone his craft. He credits his father in law venerated Japan Sushi Restaurant for teaching him the importance of discipline and rigorous training.
After 15 years professional training, his career has taken him to Australia, and now, Adelaide.
“With imagination and hard work, the possibilities are endless,” says Chef Razmy. “At the same time, there is a wealth of wisdom in age-old cooking techniques. It is my wish to bring a thoughtful perspective to traditional Japanese cuisine. I hope the sincerity comes through on my plates.”
